Which College Grads Will Get Hired?
Thanks for info, Seymour...I just read an article on BullseyeResumes Blog called, Which College Graduates from the Class of 2009 Will Get Hired... and their answer?
"Simple. It is those college graduates in the Class of 2009 who are willing to think outside of the box, be creative, be flexible and execute an effective job search strategy."
There are three ways to start doing that:
1. Look and go where the jobs are.
2. Think beyond your college major.
3. Remember your "on-land" job search strategy.
Sounds like good advice to me... Cheers!

I really liked this article and it reminded me to be flexible with my criteria when searching for jobs. Although I would never have though to seek a job with an up and coming company because it seemed risky, I know that a company that isn't yet rigid would give me more job creativity. It is already great advice to think outside your major. I know that I was somewhat skeptical about trying to find a job while I took a year off before law school, but I see that a degree in Political Science can transfer into many government or private sector jobs. But I might need a little help finding which jobs. It's easier, for example, an education major finds a job in education. A marketing major can find a job titled "Marketing" or "Advertisting". But today's world is filled with jobs that are flexible with their qualifications - just assure them you understand the job duties and you can execute them.
